We’re live…what’s next? HABIT!

Once you have your targets interacting with your product, whatever it may be, you will need to drive both activity and engagement that will drive loyal usage of your services. Habitual usage is what you will need to achieve here - that will allow you to achieve product / market fit, through obsession with user data and customer feedback.

  • What drives initial activity for the target of your product. Can be provided by internal (emotions) or external (nudges) channels. Understanding a user’s persona is key here.

  • The activity to drive movement towards the intended reward. The user needs to have both the ability and the motivation to be active

  • The gift the user will receive as a by-product of their action. This can be in multiple mediums, but is most likely an endorphin kick from completing a task.

  • Time or data the user has handed over as a by product of the action that will drive loyalty to the product due to a combination heuristics like escalation of commitment and loss aversion
